I am all about unprocessed, real food. In fact, I pack a lunch everyday and rarely buy anything that comes in a bag. That being said I do have a few go to products that I rely on when traveling, can’t refrigerate my meals, or just want a tasty, quick nutritious snack. Well Foods Co Jerky and Steak Sticks are one of those options. This jerky comes from naturally raised beef, is gluten and dairy free, uses organic ingredients, and packs a big nutritional punch in a small package. Let me break the product down for you by nutrition and taste.

Nutrition

Lets talk ingredients. First, this jerky is gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, egg-free; if you have any major food allergies you are safe with this product. Second, it is organic. Third, one package contains 22 grams of protein and 10 grams of sugar, making it an ideal post-workout snack if you are on the go. I keep a bag in my workout bag in case I leave my lunch or snack at home.

Nutrition wise, this jerky is top notch. It is hands-down the best on the market in terms of quality of ingredients. If you need a nutritious source of jerky, this is it.

Taste

Jerky can be a major hit or miss. Sometimes it is soft, supple, and delicious. Sometimes it is hard as a rock, dry as chalk, or takes two weeks to chew.   Well Food Co’s Jerky falls into the soft, supple, and delicious category. The BBQ flavor is tangy, sweet, and spicy. Is chewy without being overly so and thick enough to feel like you are actually eating a piece of meat.

I have been able to sample jerky options from dozens of “health-food” companies and Well Food Co’s is without a doubt the best tasting jerky on the market. Do yourself a favor, order some here!
